There's a bit of a story behind these. I was on tour with Frank Turner and had the very last few of the white vinyl 7" singles with me when the tour bus was broken into. The thieves made away with instruments and equipment and in doing so, they dumped all the merchandise onto a rainy, wet street in Hastings. The sleeves were ruined, but the records themselves were saved. I've had new sleeves made, and these last copies will include a signed all areas tour sticker from that tour.

Inspired by duets such as Gram Parsons & Emmylou Harris, Neil Young & Nicolette Larson, Nancy Sinatra & Lee Hazelwood as well as more traditional songs as collected by archivists Alan Lomax or Harry Smith, and contemporary songs such as Johnny Cash's ‘Delia's Gone’ or ‘Where the Wild Roses Grow’ by Nick Cave and Kylie; Emily has teamed up with friend and musical peer Frank Turner, to create a wickedly dark murder ballad with a strong male and female duet at its core.

Released on 7” vinyl, the single is backed with Emily Barker’s track ‘Nostalgia’ which features as the theme tune to Kenneth Branagh’s television series Wallander which won her a Royal Television Society Award for best TV theme, with series composer Martin Phipps winning a BAFTA for best soundtrack.
